Coach Courses to be run during 2023:
After the recent Cheshire Coaches ZOOM Meeting it was agreed to set up a Coach Resource page here on the CAA Coaching pages to store hints, exercises, guides, tips to help Coaches in Cheshire. . Session Coach course (Level 1):
This will be taking place on Saturdays 9am to 5pm at North Cheshire Bowmen indoor range, Knutsford Sports Centre, Mereheath Lane , Knutsford WA16 6SZ on the following dates 18th March, 1st April, 22nd April and May 20th . Cost £300 Over this time or prior to this the candidates must work on a beginners course with their mentor. Once the advert goes on the AGB website it will be open to others. Development Coach course (Level 2): This will be taking place on Saturdays 9am to 5pm at Bebington Indoor range at Unit 15, Price Street Business Centre, Price Street, Birkenhead CH41 4JQ. on the following dates September 9th, September 16th, September 23rd, September 30th, October 21st, November 26th . Work will need to be done with an archer you are working with who joins your club after a beginners course prior to the course starting.. You will need to give advice on suitable equipment for them, checking that it is set up properly and working with them. You will be required on the final day to do a powerpoint presentation with photos/ videos of your archer. The cost is £400 (If you do just one of the equipment days (recurve bows or compound bows).
